We are interior designers, architectural designers, artists, and creatives
OUR STUDIO is a representation of its founders unified design vision filtered through the creative minds passionate about not just interiors, but all facets of the design world. Natural artists, trained and disciplined in architecture, our love and focus became that of the human experience. After all, we are people designing for people. It is our passion to create aesthetically rich and meaningful environments. We ask of the human interface, the guest’s experience, the incorporating of a quirky detail, and build moments that create joyful lasting memories. We are the modern tale of form following function; because spaces have to be purposeful as much as they are steeped in the aesthetic.
OUR COFOUNDER - WALTER (ALEX) HOBOCIENSKI
His story begins in Columbus, Ohio, where from an early age Alex demonstrated an affinity for the fine arts. His parent seeking to nurture these talents enrolled him in The Columbus College of Art and Design’s youth extracurricular program. While fulfilling a middle school work-shadow program, Alex, discovered design architecture while shadowing at a local design firm. The combination of physical models, CAD, geometry, and art was his perfect fit. It was here his early career focus in the discipline of architecture was rooted.
After earning his Bachelors of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University, and later a Master of Architecture with Distinction of the University of Michigan, he sought to further enrich his career by taking a position at the world-renown design firm Rockwell Group, in New York City. New York’s diversity and reach meant he’d contribute to the unique design opportunities and challenges on the global stage. His portfolio would include projects as far-reaching as far as Macau, Saudi Arabia, Austria, and domestic New York City. He continues to celebrate these international influences to this day.
Alex would later relocate back in the Midwest, contributing to many giants in hospitality before founding his own hospitality design firm “HT Creative” Studio, in Chicago in 2018. It is through HT Creative, Alex, wishes to bring his global awareness and extensive influences to the Midwest region, and share the Midwest with the world.
